As any mama of boys knows, boys play differently, act differently, and are just plain different than girls. When I brought up Thanksgiving with my tween-age sons, we launched into a discussion about Native Americans and Pilgrims. Naturally, their boy brains went straight to arrows and bows. While I put a firm foot down on no weapons at the Thanksgiving table, feather headbands were a friendly alternative. In under 10-minutes your kids can whip up their own Thanksgiving feathered headband that lends itself to a great story about the First Thanksgiving. Have fun crafting!
